What to do in La Manga in the evening

Many of the families who visit La Manga in the months of May to September are looking for sun, beach and some of the best golf courses in Spain. La Manga has a sporting and nature offer that few other tourist destinations in Europe have to offer. That is why it has become one of the best places to enjoy a well-deserved family holiday.

Relaxation and nautical activities are clearly two of the best things to do in La Manga in summer, where the options never seem to run out. But La Manga is much more than that and has an attractive and varied offer for gastronomy and nightlife. The nightlife in La Manga can eclipse the daytime possibilities of this privileged enclave. So, if you are thinking of La Manga as your next destination, the best thing to do is to combine both experiences to soak up 100% of the flavour of the area.

If you're looking for nightlife, here's a small selection of restaurants, bars and clubs to check out on your next visit.

Restaurants for dinners in La Manga

Savouring the delicacies of Murcian gastronomy in an exclusive place by the sea is, without a doubt, one of the pleasures to be satisfied in La Manga. In summer, when it comes to discovering restaurants, it is better to go in the evening rather than at midday, as the temperature tends to drop a few degrees and helps to make the evening unforgettable.

Many of the establishments are by the sea and in the evening, after dinner, they come alive to the rhythm of a DJ and offer the possibility of enjoying a relaxed drink without having to leave the place. Whether you have gone as a couple or with small children, here is a small selection of restaurants for dinner in La Manga:

La Mestiza (Playa del Ciervo) is one of the most popular restaurants in La Manga. Located next to the Nautica Dos Mares in front of the Isla del Ciervo, it is a gastronomic concept based on fusion. Fusion that you can guess in its menu, but also in the atmosphere and in the variety of leisure options of the hotel group. Don't miss its sunsets.

At Maloca (Playa de los Alemanes Km 1) there is a space for a unique night at the foot of the beach. They create gastronomic experiences where the sea is the protagonist and where there is also room for cocktails and leisure in the chill out area.

Although it opened just a year ago, Ubuntu (Calle Amoladeras 13) in Cabo de Palos is consolidating its position with a menu that mixes flavours and cultures with a care for the product in a short menu, but that does not disappoint. A place where children and pets are welcome.

At one end of the port, also in Cabo de Palos, is Bocana (Calle los Palangres 1). A reference in traditional cuisine, where the recipes and local produce are respected. Rice and fish are two of the most popular specialities at Bocana.

The Collados Group places one of the gastronomic jewels of the area at the end of La Manga in a unique setting. Collados Beach (Urbanización Veneziola s/n) is an exclusive meeting place where you can enjoy the fusion of the best Mediterranean and Japanese cuisine. A place that offers unique views, a relaxing swimming pool and a beach bar with sun loungers for a full day in the summer months.

Make sure you get a table by booking in advance!

Nightclubs in La Manga

The livelier ones have different options to extend the night to the rhythm of the latest music hits and make the most of your days of leisure. If you like to enjoy the summer partying and your body can take it, there are several discotheques in La Manga where you can dance until the new dawn.

The two best known discotheques in La Manga are Trips (Carretera Cabo de Palos 2) and Mamaluna (C. los Triolas, 8) both in the Cabo de Palos area. It is common in summer for people to congregate in the same areas, regardless of their age or origin, so both are recommended for all audiences. Although it should be noted that in the Trips discotheque the profile of the people is around 30 years old, while in Mamaluna there is a slightly younger atmosphere.
