Triathlon Training Routes

La Manga Club has established itself as a unique destination in Spain for training in endurance sports such as triathlon.  

Mild year-round weather, first-class sports facilities, two seas for open water swimming and a location on the edge of the Calblanque Natural Park mean that La Manga Club is able to offer fantastic natural routes for cycling and running training at all levels. 

These are our training routes, developed in collaboration with Biking La Manga* .

Monday Ride 41km – 410m vertical
Suitable for – Road Cyclist , Triathlete 
Level – Intermediate (incudes Portman Hills)

Short Portman Loop Anticlockwise 28km 400m vertical 
Suitable for – Road Cyclist , Triathlete 
Level – Intermediate (incudes Portman Hills)

Short Portman Loop Los Nietos 32km 400m vertical 
Suitable for – Road Cyclist , Triathlete 
Level – Intermediate (incudes Portman Hills)

Mazarron 110km – 1300m vertical 
Suitable for – Road Cyclist , Triathlete 
Level – Advanced

Cenizas Guns 10 km – 210m vertical 
Suitable for – MTB, Runnung (NOT road bike)
Level – Intermediate (not technical, all car-width tracks)
