The European Senior Club Championship returns to La Manga Club for another three years
The event, organised by Tennis Europe, will be held from the 9th to the 22nd of September and will bring together the club champions and runners-up from a large number of European countries.
La Manga Club, 31st of January 2018. – La Manga Club will once again be headquarters for the European Senior Club Championship for three more years (2018-2020). The event, organised by Tennis Europe (The European Tennis Federation, which unites 50 countries from across Europe and organizes more than 1,200 annual events), it will take place from the 9th to the 22nd of September and will be divided into two categories: Super Senior, from the 9th to the 14th of September; and the Senior, from the 17th to the 22nd of September.
The best amateur tennis players from all of Europe will come together at La Manga Club for the European Senior Club Championship. Throughout the year, the European clubs will participate in national tournaments in an attempt to finish as winners or runners-up and therefore compete in the European Championship held in September at La Manga Club.
Other tennis tournaments at La Manga Club
In addition to the European Senior Club Championship in September, La Manga Club will host the two following tennis tournaments: the 7th La Manga Club Tennis Cup, from the 24th to the 29th of June; and the traditional ITF Tennis Open Grade 1, from the 26th of November to the 2nd of December.
As well as accommodating tennis matches such as the Davis and the Federation Cup, La Manga Club is the overseas training centre for the British Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and has been chosen on numerous occasions as one of the best tennis complexes in Europe and in the world.
