La Manga Club and UCAM launch a new internship experience for international students

Master students in Hotel Management have enjoyed three days at La Manga Club doing internships in different departments of the resort.​

 

La Manga Club, 14th December 2018.- The professional relationship between La Manga Club and UCAM continues to strengthen through its Tourism Department. Specifically, both entities have launched a new internship experience for students of Master Studies in Hotel Management.

Thanks to this new experience, some thirty students from countries such as Pakistan, Israel, Malaysia, the USA and Brazil, among many others, visited the facilities of La Manga Club and were able to enjoy a three-day stay at the resort, carrying out the tasks in different key departments in the day-to-day running of the sports resort: Reception, at the Príncipe Felipe Hotel and in the Las Lomas Village apartments; Room Service and the Food and Beverage department.

In addition to all of this, the students enjoyed a golf master class with the director of the Golf Training Centre of La Manga Club, Thomas Johansson.

This is the first experience of its kind with the students of the aforementioned master's degree, although La Manga Club welcomes students every year who decide to do their internships at the sports resort upon completion of their studies.
