New date for the La Manga Club's 5th Mountain Race: 15th January
The race, initially planned for Sunday 18th December, was suspended due to strong advice from the local authorities as the weather had been forecasted to consist of strong wind, rain and thunder in that zone for the whole weekend.
La Manga Club, 19th December 2016. La Manga Club's 5th Mountain Race has been postponed until after Christmas, officially for 15th January. The characteristics of the race will all remain the same, as will the terms and conditions of participation and accomodation.
10km race over 'el Monte de las Cenizas'
The race starts at 10am from the Football Centre in La Manga Club. Over the 10.5 kilometres, participants will tour the nearby golf resort and then on to more complicated sections. Throughout this race they will climb over 400 metres and then back to the finish line at La Manga Club Football centre.
This 5th Mountain Race has become an unmissable event for all trail running lovers. Registration for this race can be done through the Línea de Salida website for payments by bank transfer or banking deposit.

La Manga Club has prepared different registration types for those who would like to participate in this race:
- Race only (€15): It includes race entry, solid and liquid refreshment at the two checkpoints, runner's bag with a special technical event t-shirt, medical assistance, use of changing rooms and showers.
- Race + Spa (€23): All the above plus entrance to saunas, steam rooms, gym and heated pool.
Additionally, La Manga Club offers a special accomodation price for the runners, from €35, which includes a night accomodation in Las Lomas Village 4* with a runner's breakfast and access to the gym, sauna, steam room and indoor swimming pool at the Spa (does not include registration for the race). Prizes and raffles
There will be prizes for the top finishers in each category. The overall winners will also receive one night's accommodation in a double room at 4* Las Lomas Village with breakfast and access to the Spa. In addition, all race participants will have a 25% discount at the High Performance Centre (HPC) at La Manga Club.
