La Manga Club continues to receive rewards and merits
The resort has been included as one of the 5 best tennis resorts in the world by the British publication, ‘The Week’. Recently, the complex received the nomination from the ‘Annual World Spa Awards’, in the category of ‘Spain’s Best Resort Spa 2017’.
La Manga Club, 27 June 2017 - La Manga Club is once again being considered as one of the best resorts in the world. On this occasion, it is the British publication of ‘The Week’, which has included the resort in one of the five best tourist resorts in the world to play tennis, whilst simultaneously being able to enjoy the other high-quality services that La Manga Club can offer.
The Tennis Centre at La Manga Club has many characteristics that merit the complex’s inclusion in this prestigious ranking. The quality of the facilities at La Manga Club, with its twenty-eight courts, makes it one of Europe’s finest outdoor facilities. The courts are divided into twenty clay courts (including an exhibition court and the centre court, the latter with a maximum capacity of 1,200 spectators), four hard courts, four artificial grass courts, two paddle courts and a squash court.
It also offers other services, such as a racket centre with rackets available to hire or buy, as well as a re-stringing and grip service (available on request), gym, the Oasis outdoor swimming pool, minigolf, lawn bowls and the Junior Club for children between 3 months and 12 years old.
These tennis services on offer are complemented by the established Tennis Academy, which prepares training programmes that are adapted to all demands, levels and ages of the participants. All of this is coupled with the experience of the resort being the official sponsor of Tennis Europe.
These world class facilities have led The Tennis Centre to become the overseas training base for the British Tennis Federation, otherwise known as the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), the training base for internationally renowned professionals and the preferred destination for families to come and play tennis. On multiple occasions, it has been the host to prestigious tournaments like the Davis Cup, Fed Cup and the ATP.
La Manga Club also keeps expanding its alliances with other important organisations in the sector, to ensure that it keeps offering the highest possible quality in the sport. With this in mind, the complex has extended its collaboration agreement with Tennis Europe, the biggest tennis association in the whole of Europe comprising 50 federations, until 2018. From this, La Manga Club continues being the ‘official resort collaborator’ for Tennis Europe, an agreement first reached in 2010.
Other recent acknowledgements

The resort is once again a candidate to win various ‘World Golf Awards’, some of the most coveted international awards in the industry, labelled the ‘Oscars of golf’ by many. In this edition for 2017, La Manga Club has been nominated to win ‘Europe’s Best Golf Venue’ and ‘Spain’s Best Golf Course’, amongst other awards.
Although we are only halfway through 2017, La Manga Club has already received many rewards and merits, such as the award for ‘Best International Resort 2017’, which was awarded by the reputable magazine ‘Golf Digest’.
