Oriental wellbeing techniques come to the Wellness Centre at La Manga Club this autumn
Ancestral or traditional, from different cultures but with the same objective, oriental treatments try to restore the harmony, physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing of the person receiving the treatment. This autumn the Wellness Centre at La Manga Club will incorporate therapeutic techniques from Thailand, Tibet and India to provide clients with ultimate relaxation in a heated space of 2,000m2 that has jacuzzis, pools, treatment rooms,… everything necessary to break the routine and to temporarily avoid the daily stress of life.
La Manga Club, August 1st 2017 - After the holidays and the summer months, autumn brings us back to day-to-day realities: going back to work, traffic jams, stress, etc. Our body accumulates the harmful effects of the sun and heat, and our mind is exposed to high levels of exhaustion due to the return to the daily routine. With the aim of restoring wellbeing after the damage caused by the summer and to restore the mind to reach the maximum level of tranquillity, La Manga Club proposes a series of treatments in its Wellness Centre that are designed to restore complete harmony.
Two thousand square metres of facilities to improve wellbeing on all levels in a thermal facility with jacuzzis, dynamic swimming pool, cold plunge pool, steam rooms, sauna in addition to the 13 treatment rooms. The Wellness Centre also offers a wide range of body treatments, facials and massages, such as the new, oriental based massages originating from traditional and ancestral techniques.
For example, you can enjoy a Thai massage, based on pressure movements and stretching similar to that of Yoga and Shiatsu and works all of the muscles, connective tissues as well as energy lines. Alternatively, the Champi massage, a type of ayurvedic massage originating from India that works through frictions and pressures of the head, neck and shoulders. A suitable massage to work the nervous system and to help free and clear the mind to ensure ultimate relaxation.
The balance of our energies is achieved thanks to the Tibetan massage, Ku Nye, which uses oils from medicinal plants, and uses a variety of techniques such as kneading, pressures, stretches, tractions, acupressure, etc. It will help you re-establish both physical and mental wellbeing. La Manga Club has made these oriental techniques available to its clients so that they manage to reach maximum relaxation in its optimum state.
Additionally, the Wellness Centre provides the most innovative services for looking after the body through its new apparatus, such as the LPG or Hyperbaric Oxygen Machine. It also offers a wide selection of aesthetic treatments using the well-known brand, Medik8. All of these services are performed in an ambience of complete serenity, which becomes the ideal place to enjoy a deserved break as it combines contemporary treatments and techniques from some of the world’s most exotic destinations and takes clients through a restorative and rejuvenating journey.
