28 countries participate in the Tennis Europe conferences at La Manga Club

La Manga Club welcomes a series of conferences related to tennis in Europe on the 29th and 30th of November in which almost 30 different national federations shall be participating, as well as organizations such as the ATP or ITF.

La Manga Club, 29th of November, 2017.- La Manga Club is hosting a series of conferences related to tennis in Europe and junior European tennis organized by Tennis Europe, the European Tennis Federation over the next couple of days and has brought together around 50 national federations as well as federations from other European countries.

The conferences began today with a welcome from Lorenzo Martínez, the director of the Tennis Centre at La Manga Club, who commenced proceedings by explaining how La Manga Club has made its headquarters an international training centre for professional tennis players.

Throughout much of its duration, representatives from 28 countries, among which you’ll find Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Holland, Swede, Turkey or Bosnia, will be speaking about the situation of tennis in their respective countries and will be able to establish various shared initiatives that will be put in place to promote the practice and development of the sport.

The series of events will be concluded with a tennis tournament for all participants that will coincide with the celebration over the next few days for the 15th Costa Cálida Senior Tennis Open at La Manga Club.
