For sale: La Manga Club’s old-fashioned golf course signposts
All of the money raised will go to ASIDO, Cartagena’s association for children and youths with Down syndrome who already collaborate with us in the manufacturing of the trophies that La Manga Club award in annual golf and tennis tournaments.
La Manga Club, 7th of February 2018. – The golf department of La Manga Club has put their old-fashioned signposts from all three golf courses on the complex on the market, once it has finished replacing all the original signage for the new one.
They consist of the dark wooden signs that until only a few months ago displayed which hole golfers were playing on and the distances to each green. All the money raised from the sale of these signs will go to ASIDO Cartagena, the association for children and youths with Down syndrome that La Manga Club currently works with (the group produce our palm tree-shaped awards that are sculpted using beach sand).
Each sign costs €50. Those interested can get in contact with the golf administration team and ask for the hole signpost that is desired the most (if it is still available). There are signs, for example, which had already been bought prior to their public sale, like the current South course hole 7, which was originally hole 1 of the golf course that inaugurated La Manga Club in 1972.
