Charity Sports Week in La Manga Club
Between 29th July and 4th August, the resort will raise funds for the Alda Foundation through various sporting competitions, including football, tennis and golf, and culminating with the annual gala dinner.
La Manga Club, June 20th 2017 - The Alda Foundation was founded in 2003 with the aim of improving the living standards of children in Paraguay. This private entity, a non-profit organisation, works to improve the social and educational livelihoods of the children in the most vulnerable areas of Paraguay. La Manga Club is heavily involved in this project, and for this reason, it will be hosting a charity sports week at the end of July to help raise money for, and to support, the Alda Foundation.
This year, La Manga Club has decided to organise a full week of sporting activities which will include football, tennis and golf; culminating with a spectacular Gala Dinner. All funds raised from these activities will go towards improving the quality of education for children at risk of exclusion.
Charity Sports Week
The Charity Sports Week will start on Saturday 29th July with a charity golf tournament to be held on the South Course, with a 'shotgun start' in pairs and playing with the scramble format. It will be a tournament that unites all members of the family: parents, children, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, etc.

The session will start at 6pm and will last for roughly an hour. Following this session, a miniature World Cup tournament will be held for children between 7 and 16 years old, which will also be supervised by the Scotland manager.
