La Manga Club acogió la final nacional del World Amateur Golfers Championship Spain (WAGC), donde cinco jovencísimos golfistas amateurs consiguieron imponerse al resto de participantes en cada una de las cinco categorías. El equipo español viajará el próximo mes de octubre a Sudáfrica para disputar la final mundial.

The World Amateur Golfers Championship Spain (WAGC) arrives at La Manga Club on September 16 to stage the national final of this golf tournament.  After a tour of the entire country, which included thirty regional trials, the five best amateur golfers will be selected from this final to represent Spain.

La Manga Club acogió el pasado sábado una de las 29 pruebas clasificatorias para formar parte de la gran final nacional de este Campeonato que tendrá lugar en nuestros campos de golf del 16 al 18 de septiembre

Last Saturday, La Manga Club held one of the 29 qualifying rounds that lead to the final of the World Amateur Golf Championship, which will take place on our golf courses on 16th-18th September 2016. 

Throughout this week, there has been a variety tournaments and sports events being held at La Manga Club to help raise money for the Alda Foundation, a charitable organisation that seeks to improve the lives of children in Paraguay. Tennis, football and golf are the main sports being played during this charitable week.

Durante toda esta semana, se han celebrado distintos torneos y eventos deportivos en La Manga Club a favor de la Fundación Alda, la organización sin ánimo de lucro que busca mejorar la vida de los niños en Paraguay. El tenis, el fútbol y el golf han sido los protagonistas de esta Semana Solidaria.
