FC Barcelona celebrate their football camp at La Manga Club for the fourth consecutive year
FC Barcelona have chosen La Manga Club’s facilities for the fourth consecutive year as the location for their popular football training camp, aimed towards young boys and girls between 6 and 17 years of age. The participants will have the opportunity to train in the official kit and follow a complete training programme designed by the club’s technical team and the chance to win a signed t-shirt by the first team. The camp will take place from 24th to 28th July at La Manga Club.
La Manga Club, 28th February 2017 – The young fans of Messi, Piqué or Neymar have a date at La Manga Club this summer: from the 24th to 28th July, and for the fourth consecutive year, the sports resort will be the headquarters of the summer camp, organised by FCB Escola from FC Barcelona.
The success of previous camps and the huge approval of both participants and parents alike, have been determining factors in ensuring that the camp returns to La Manga Club. Open to both boys and girls between 6 and 17 years old (until the maximum limit of 300 children), the camp includes five-hour daily training sessions led by coaches from FC Barcelona, with a wide range of activities and lunch.
The training camp combines sporting activity with the opportunity for young people of different ages and cultures to mix, with a series of fun drills that teach the values associated with the club: leadership, comradeship, respect, team work and self-control.
All participants will receive a certificate for attending and training kits (two official team kits, which consist of two t-shirts, a pair of shorts and some socks). There will also be the opportunity to win shirts signed by the first team and to practice languages, as the camp will be conducted in Spanish and English.
Camps like this are a perfect opportunity to enjoy a family holiday, thanks to the brilliant surroundings of La Manga Club, with various sports and leisure activities available for adults and children, as well as their facilities and services, awarded on an international scale.
Children can sign up for the camp only, or include the option of accommodation, for those that live outside of La Manga Club. For more information and registration, click here
