La Manga Club completely renew their two Fitness Centres with the latest state of the art equipment
La Manga Club begins a new stage to modernize the resort facilities which will last for several months. The first major investment has been to change the equipment in both of their two fitness centres for the latest technology. There is now also internet access, better lighting and new spaces for functional training.
La Manga Club, 9th October 2015. The gym at Spa La Manga Club has renewed its image and increased its performance thanks to an agreement signed with Technogym, the official supplier of sports equipment in the Olympic Games in Sydney, Athens, Beijing, and others. The Spa director, Pedro Lopez informs us that the machinery includes new models for cardiovascular work and muscle group toning
Some of the new features of the Technogym equipment include screens with Internet access, television, radio and games. These features can entertain during training and also let you compete with other users who are connected to the application which has been developed by the Italian firm. It is also possible to keep a personal file and connect to your social networks.
In addition to the machinery, the space in the gym has been redesigned to create new areas for functional training. The carpet has been removed and the floor renewed along with improved lighting and Wi-Fi in every room.
Access to the Fitness Centre at Spa La Manga Club is free to all guests staying at the Príncipe Felipe 5* hotel and Las Lomas Village 4* apartments. Besides the gym, the spa has an indoor pool, saunas, steam rooms and more than a dozen treatment rooms.
The second gym at the resort can be found at the Tennis Centre. It has also been renovated and has new equipment to complement the existing machines along with a new floor.
These reforms are the beginning of a new stage in which La Manga Club is committed to modernizing its facilities ready for 2016.
