Sports for all tastes and ages: take part in and enjoy La Manga Club’s Junior Academies
Children and youths of all ages can now enjoy an extensive selection of sports academies in La Manga Club: golf, tennis, football, rugby, dance, cricket, triathlon… Pick the sport that you most like and you can take part in it this summer.
La Manga Club, 7th July 2016 – There are no excuses not to do sport this summer. In La Manga Club we have increased our offering of Junior Sports Academies so that we can tailor our services to the tastes and demands of even the smallest members of the family. Golf, tennis, football, rugby, dance, cricket, triathlon… The choice of Sports Academies this summer is huge. Pick the sport that your child is most interested in and they can take part in it this summer at La Manga Club.
Golf Academies at La Manga Club
The Junior Golf Academy at La Manga Club is one of the academies that are open all year round, but the summer is the perfect time to start learning how to play the sport. In the David Leadbetter Academy, thanks to a simple method that is adapted to all levels, those who start from the scratch will learn the basic skills of golf while those who are more experienced in the sport will improve their technique and all aspects related to the game.
Tennis Academies at La Manga Club
To talk about Tennis is to talk about La Manga Club. The Tennis Centre at La Manga Club, which includes 28 tennis courts and many other incredible facilities, is one of the largest in Europe. Therefore, in the La Manga’s Tennis Centre we look after the youngest members of the family through our Tennis Academies.
Although it is open all year round, the Tennis Academies become more active in summer, with a diverse range of ages that come to use the facilities, from as young as 6 years old to under-19 level.

Football Academies at La Manga Club
The Football Academies at La Manga Club are the most popular amongst the youth. The Academies are aimed to boys and girls between 3 and 16 years old, and each one of the academies are adapted to the knowledge of the participants, combining the teaching of specific skills and techniques with the fitness training applied to football.
Ask in our Tennis Centre about the Football Academies at La Manga Club this summer.
Additionally, La Manga Club is holding the FC Barcelona Camp for the third year running, in which boys and girls, between the ages of 6 and 17 years old, can take part in. This football camp will take place from 25th until 29th of July. If you would like more information about this camp, in this link you can complete your child’s registration. We are also currently holding a competition that offers the opportunity to win a place in the FC Barcelona Camp. Learn how you can win a place to be part of the third Barça Camp at La Manga Club.
Cricket Academies at La Manga Club
Cricket is another sport featuring in La Manga Club’s long list of Academies. During July and August the Academy is open and is available to boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 15 years old. The coaches of the academy form part of John Dye’s team, who is the Director of the Spanish Academy of Cricket.

Dance Academies at La Manga Club
For all ages and abilities (between the ages of 4 and 16 years old). La Manga Club offers a fun, professional and energetic Dance Academy, with games and dances for the youngest participants and the practice of some dancing styles such as Street Dance (for those who are more experimental). Every week there will be rehearsals and a live dance that will be shown during the tennis exhibition match that takes place every Friday evening in the Tennis Centre.

Rugby Academies at La Manga Club
Our Rugby Academy is taught by the former Welsh rugby international champion Michael Owen, with a programme that is adapted to all levels from participant level to the more advanced rugby players. This Academy is aimed at boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 16 years old.

Triathlon Academy at La Manga Club
This year we have put in motion the Junior Triathlon Academy for ages between 7 and 15 years old. The Triathlon Academy includes the practice in swimming, running and cycling and classes are adapted to the capabilities of each age group.
