La Manga Club consolidates its status as one of the best golf complexes in Spain due to all three of its golf courses being positioned in the top 40 of the best golf courses in the country, in an annual publication from the organisation, Top 100 Golf Courses. Their list has become a significant influence amongst amateur and professional players, who use the guide to choose their training destinations or even international golf tournaments.

La Manga Club, 25th of January 2018.- La Manga Club continues to reap the rewards from its three golf courses. In this instance, they have once again been included in the Top 100 Golf Courses publication, a point of reference for many amateur and professional players. What's more, each of the three courses were individually ranked in the top fourty golf courses.

La Manga Club’s West Course was located in 18th place in the latest rankings, 6 ahead of the South Course, a five-time host of the Spanish Open, in 24th place, while the North Course took 34th position after moving up 5 places.

Eduardo Ruiz, director of golf at La Manga Club, said: 'Spain has a great number of fantastic golf courses so for all three courses to be ranked inside the top 40 of the new list is wonderful news for the resort. This is further reward for the major investment that La Manga Club has made, such as the latest resources for course maintenance, renovation of tees and improvement of pathways, in order to help maintain the resort’s position as a Mecca for golfers across Europe and beyond over the coming years.'

On top of this feat that puts La Manga Club's three golf courses amongst the best in Spain, the West Course was included in the Top 100 Golf Courses in Europe only several weeks ago, as well as being voted as the best golf complex in Spain by the readers of Today's Golfer, for the seventh consecutive year.

Awards in 2017

The list of awards that La Manga Club has received goes on, and, during 2017, one of the most significant of these has to be the concession of the Royal title 'Real Golf La Manga Club' from the Spanish Royal Household, a title of international prestige.

Furthermore, the World Golf Awards recognised La Manga Club as the Best Golf Venue in Europe and the Best Golf Hotel in Spain at the gala celebrated last November on the resort.
