La Manga Club, 22th September 2015. A delegation from the ITE (Institute of Technical Education) in Singapore has visited La Manga Club. Together with members of the UCAM Marketing Department and the City of Cartagena’s councillor for Youth, Sport and Heritage, Ricardo Segado, they looked at the possibilities of collaboration between these institutions and the resort.
The interest of this group from Singapore was to discover the region of Murcia, the main educational institutions and centres of reference in tourism and sports industry in the region, such as La Manga Club.
The ITE is an educational centre that trains more than 20,000 students annually and its facilities are used to train the National Singapore football team, whose coach is a member along with his team of ambassadors. Given its facilities, its wide experience in hosting international football teams and other services such as the CIARD, La Manga Club could be taken into consideration as a hub in Europe for their national and league teams.
