La Manga Club receives certification for being a Collaborative Tourism Company to the Calblanque Regional Park.
This accreditation recognises the tourism accommodation sites and businesses that carry out activities within the park and promote and facilitate the enjoyment of this natural environment in a sustainable manner.
La Manga Club, 19th of November, 2017.- A score of tourism organizations, La Manga Club included, have just recently been recognized as being certified collaborative companies to the Calblanque Regional Park, Monte de las Cenizas y Peña del Águila, in an initiative promoted by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment that seeks to promote and facilitate the enjoyment of this natural setting in a sustainable way.
The general director of Medio Natural, Consuelo Rosauro, this week spoke at the Marine Reserve Centre in Cabo de Palos-Islas Hormigas and presented the first accreditations to representatives of different tourism organisations that carry out activities within the park or that offer accommodation to potential visitors and have shown interest in active collaboration alongside the Regional Park.
Rosauro stated that “this initiative implies a process of cooperation between the Regional Park and the tourism businesses that surround it with the objective of strengthening partnerships between employers and operators of the park based on mutual compromises that ensure that a more sustainable form of tourism can be achieved.”
The businesses therefore make a decalogue of commitments, such as the support for the park in awareness and conservation campaigns, promoting educational activities, participating in training days and guiding customers in relation to the rules of the park, among others.
At the same time, these collaborative tourism companies to the Regional Park have received an accreditation that recognises their voluntary commitment to the sustainable touristic development of this protected natural area. “There are more and more people who, when planning their holidays, seek to enjoy natural spaces such as Calblanque. With this initiative we look to attract more and more tourists to our natural areas and facilitate their enjoyment in a respectful way that contributes to its conservation,” confirmed the general director of Medio Natural.
The businesses already accredited, as well as La Manga Club, are Posidonia tourism; Adventure Divers; Sirocco Aventuras; Entretierras; Xmigrations; Rancho La Fuente; Fabi horse riding; Planeta azul; Biking La Manga; La Manga Bikes; Siente Murcia; Autobús turístico La Manga; Casa Las Jordanas; Camping La Manga Caravanning; Entremares Hotel; Izán Cavanna Hotel; Galúa Hotel; Mikaela Hostel; and La Manga Villas.
