The CEO of La Manga Club, José Asenjo, has highlighted the key role that companies in the tourist sector play in the projection of the festival to the numerous tourists that visit the Region of Murcia during the summer season. What is hoped to come out of the agreement is an expansion of the collaboration framework and the organisation of other events and activities between the two institutions throughout the rest of the year.

The President of the Foundation has signaled that this year the festival will consist of a schedule of 5 talented artists and a Flamenco musical dedicated to Camarón de la Isla, dubbed “Enterno Camarón”. Additionally, as a novelty to this edition, the event will take place in the streets of La Unión with a series of performances and recitals in various emblematic locations of the mining village.

López Milán recalls the international character of the festival and has signaled that during this edition a special prize will be awarded to Germany for its dedicated participation and commitment in the spreading and support of Flamenco with the celebration of its recognised festivals in cities such as Berlin, Wurzburg, Bochum, Essen and Gelsenkirchen.
