La Manga Club participates in the first edition of the Mediterranean Resort & Hotel Real Estate Forum
The CEO of the resort, José Asenjo, attended this important event which took place in Madrid and was attended by more than 70 tourism industry leaders from 30 different countries.

The Mediterranean Resort & Hotel Real Estate Forum (MR&H) has put the hottest issues relating to tourism and hotel investment on the table and capturing the attention of new potential investors and promote new projects in the Mediterranean region. The participants discussed the prospects of both emerging destinations and those already established in the Mediterranean region, its long-term challenges, adapting to the market and what opportunities they might offer.
The Mediterranean Resort & Hotel Real Estate Forum was attended by major industry leaders including Taleb Rifai, secretary-general of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and David Scowsill, president and CEO of the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) who started the forum on Tuesday. José Manuel Soria, Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism in Spain also participated in this conference along with another one called 'Challenges and Opportunities, leaders speak about tourism in the Mediterranean'.

José Asenjo participated on the first day of this conference in a round table discussion about 'Destination resorts', during which he highlighted La Manga Club as an example of a leisure and sports destination in the Mediterranean.
