The new gym at Spa La Manga Club with the latest technology and equipment for health and well-being
The new Spa gym has new cutting-edge machinery, new spaces for functional training, better lighting and Wi-Fi service in every room. The gym at the Tennis Centre has also been updated and other reforms will take place around the resort.
La Manga Club, 30th September 2015. The gym at Spa La Manga Club (La Manga, Murcia) unveils its new look. These reforms are not only aesthetic but functional too. The director of the Spa, Pedro López commented that the gym has been equipped with cutting-edge machinery thanks to a collaboration agreement with Technogym, who are the official supplier of the Olympic Games in Sydney, Athens and Peking, amongst others.
This state-of-the-art machinery includes new ways for cardiovascular work and toning of each muscle group. He went on to say that they are much more ergonomic and biodynamic machines that make the work more effective. Every machine has a bigger menu screen, internet access, TV and radio, amongst many other benefits.
The space inside has also been redesigned to create new places for functional training; the floor has been changed and the lighting improved. There is now also Wi-Fithroughout the gym.
Within the premises of the Spa, the heated indoor pool has also undergone improvements that were made during the annual maintenance.
The gym located in the Tennis Centre has also been renovated and now has a much more modern image than before. The floor of the entire room has been changed and new machinery has been installed which complements the existing equipment and mainly focuses on toning workouts.
The renovations of the gyms in both the Spa and the Tennis Centre were the first in a long list of improvements and updates that will be seen throughout the resort in the coming months. The overall plan to renew the image and facilities will keep this resort moving forward into the future.
In the coming weeks the carpet and paint in the lobbies of the Príncipe Felipe 5* Hotel will be replaced and the resort’s signature restaurant, Amapola will release a new menu. In addition, two special fragrances are being developed for the Príncipe Felipe 5* Hotel and Las Lomas 4* Village by a laboratory in France.
La Manga Club continues to confirm itself as the benchmark in sports tourism, not only for tennis and golf, but also other sports like cricket, triathlon and fitness, both in Spain and the rest of Europe.
